The Friends of the Sangamon Valley is a membership-driven organization. Membership is available for annual dues:
- Individual – $35
- Family – $50
- Student – $25
Membership entitles you to our quarterly newsletter, invitations to members-only events, opportunities to participate in the organization, and voting privileges at our annual meeting held in January. Membership may also be obtained by contributing at least three hours of volunteer labor in a year.
Membership dues and other donations go directly to supporting the Friends and its stewardship activities, including signage, tools, burn equipment, fuel, herbicide, special events, printing and postage. We also accept donations of cash, equipment, or office supplies.
We also accepted donations of land for conservation purposes. If you are interested in donating land, please contact FoSV Board President Dick Poynter at (217) 585-1818. Click here for information on our Landowner’s Guide to Land Donation.
