Wow, the cicadas are starting to come out in full force! In case you are wondering who is enjoying this free buffet line…pileated woodpeckers for one! Watch closely and you’ll see several cicadas successfully avoid (for now) becoming a meal.

We are so excited to share the roll out of OLD WOLF OAK! Old Wolf Oak is a West Coast style IPA brewed by Hand of Fate Brewing Company in collaboration with the Friends of the Sangamon Valley. At 6.7% ABV and generously hopped with Bitter Gold, Centennial, Columbus and Simcoe hops, Old Wolf Oak has prominent pine, resin and grapefruit notes and the dry bitter finish you would expect in the OG west coast style. Four packs can be purchased immediately at their Petersburg taproom and will see limited distribution next week. It is also available on draft and in growlers and crowlers. A portion of the proceeds from your purchase will go to the Friends of the Sangamon Valley. Thank you for your support!
