Being responsible landowners is important to the Friends of the Sangamon Valley. Conducting stewardship is just one of the many things that we do. Unfortunately, an unexpected expense has arisen. Robinson Woods is our ~9 acre property located in the heart of Springfield. Earlier this month a large oak tree fell, just missing a neighbor’s home. In the process of cleaning up the tree it became apparent that two other very large oaks need attention. The first is severely compromised with decay. The other needs trimming attention to better balance the crown. The neighbor is willing to chip in, will you?? Your contribution of just $10 will add up to help us offset this expense. Please help us address this concern before we hear “TIMBER!”
